Theologically we perceive ourselves to be "Spirit-filled Evangelicals". We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and therefore teach it as truth. We believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Concerning the "Acts of the Holy Spirit", we believe that what was available to the first century church (as recorded in the Book of Acts and the Epistles) is available to the church today. Although we might resist labeling ourselves as Pentecostal or even charismatic, we would instead view ourselves as a naturally supernatural people. We believe in miracles and practice the use of the gifts of the Spirit as a normal part of our Christian life. We believe as Paul stated in Ephesians 4:11&12 that church leadership is to "equip the saints for the work of the ministry…" Each and every Christian should be effectively equipped for every kind of ministry physically and spiritually. We believe that the health and operation of the church is not dependent upon a few up front leaders, but instead upon every mature Christian who is committed to the life of the local church body.
